Petroleum prices likely to fall in Pakistan from Oct 16

Petrol prices are widely expected to fall due to global oil prices as well as a sharp rise in the Pakistani rupee and Russia's move to lift the ban on pipeline diesel exports.

After the improvement in the value of the rupee, the possibility of a significant decrease in the prices of petroleum products is being shown. The prices of petroleum products have decreased in the global market. In the global market, gasoline has become cheaper by 12 dollars and diesel by 9 dollars per barrel.

Globally, the price of petrol is 102 dollars while the price of diesel is 117 dollars per barrel. According to media reports, oil prices have fallen to the lowest level in 2 months by more than 5%.

Pakistani people are likely to get a big relief after oil becomes cheaper in the global market. It is expected that after October 15, the price of petrol will come down below 300 rupees.
